Live at the Porretta Soul Festival!
The Canettes Blues Band makes its debut at the world famous Porretta Soul Festival in Porretta Terme, Italy on Saturday, 25 July 2026.
The festival, in its 28th year running, was founded by Graziano Uliani in 1987 to promote Soul music in Europe. It features four days and nights (Thursday-Sunday) of world-class talent. "Over the years the festival has taken on such dimensions of prestige and notoriety as to make it the most important European event dedicated to Soul and Rhythm & Blues music." Music starts at the Rufus Thomas Café stage (free entry) at 11:00 in a festive environment including a streetful of food and drink. It continues from 20:00 on the Rufus Thomas stage (buy your tickets now) all evening. The all-star lineup this year will include Özdemirs, Mitch Woods, Sandy Carroll, Curtis Salgado, Thornetta Davis, The Memphis Music Hall of Fame Band, the Jewels, Lenny Willams and Kenny Wolfe, Eric Gales, Stefanie Bolton, Bigg Robb, and - of course - The Canettes Blues Band. Bring your dancing shoes and your appetite for great food and music. See you there!!!
